IDpack has been helping organizations design, manage, and print professional identification cards for more than 25 years. What began as Windows software has evolved into IDpack Cloud, a modern browser-based platform built around everything we have learned from our customers.
For many years, IDpack Software for Windows gave organizations the tools they needed to create badges, manage cardholder information, and print ID cards in-house. As technology changed, so did the way our customers wanted to work. They needed easier access, simpler deployment, centralized data, and fewer technical requirements.
That experience led us to build IDpack Cloud: a Software as a Service (SaaS) platform for designing, managing, and printing badges online. There is no software to install on individual workstations, no local database to configure or synchronize, and no need to worry about keeping multiple computers on the same software version.
We focused on the parts that matter most
Decades of working with ID card customers taught us that powerful software does not need to be complicated.
We learned two important things. First, most organizations do not need to build every badge from a blank canvas. Their cards usually contain the same essential elements: a logo, photo, name, title, organization information, barcode, QR code, or other identification data.
Second, database management was often the most difficult part of traditional ID card software. Creating fields, modifying a database structure, sharing data between workstations, and keeping everything synchronized could require technical knowledge that many organizations simply should not need to have.
IDpack Cloud was designed to remove that complexity. Your projects and data are centralized and available from a modern web browser on a desktop, laptop, or tablet. Sensitive information is encrypted, and each organization uses its own organization-specific encryption key as part of our data-protection architecture.

You can begin with one of our professionally designed badge templates and customize it using Designer. Images, logos, static text, dynamic fields, barcodes, and other visual elements can be edited, replaced, hidden, or repositioned to match your organization.
Prefer to start from scratch? You can also create a completely new badge layout directly in Designer, using its built-in editing tools. Everything happens in one place, from the first design to the finished ID card.
Your fields, your workflow
Every organization collects different information, so your ID card database should adapt to your needs.
Our templates include a useful default set of fields such as first name, last name, birthdate, organization, and other common information. These fields can be customized through our field definitions, with up to 50 fields available per project.

Our badge templates use vector graphics wherever possible so logos, shapes, text, and design elements remain sharp when printed. Whether your printer operates at 300, 600, or 1200 DPI, your badge design is prepared for professional output.
